“I will bless the Lord at all times His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalm 34 says we should praise the Lord at all times. So simply know that there is never a bad time to praise God. We praise Him in season. We praise Him out of season. We praise Him when He has brought us through a rough time in our lives. We praise Him while we are going through that rough time in our lives. We praise God at all times and in all situations.

Sometimes it is hard to praise God as we are going through our troubles in life. That is when our faith kicks in. We need faith to praise God no matter what, but God knows when we are weak. That is when we need our brothers and sisters in Christ. That is when we need faith to forsake not the assembly of ourselves one to another. I mean faith to call on a brother or sister in Christ who knows to praise God in the midst of trials and tribulations. God loves praise. Praise is a cure for depression. Praise gives us courage and strength. Praise is a means to face the challenges ahead in our life. If we are not strong enough to push our way through and persevere not only do we pray, we should praise God.

Whenever we are in the presence of God praise is the outcome. God is omnipresent so how is it that we are not always praising Him? Again Psalm 34 says I will bless the Lord at all times. Meaning, when we recognize the presence of the Lord we begin to praise Him. In other words it is a choice we make to acknowledge God’s presence. Sometimes life gets in the way. But we must press on. We must be intentional. We must make it our mission in life to be in God’s presence.

Practice makes better. We will never be perfect but we can be better. The more we praise God in all situations the easier it is to praise God. As an athlete you do not start by running a marathon or lifting 300 lbs. Some athletes never run a marathon or lift 300 lbs. But with continuous practice and training you will get there. That is why the That is one reason God wants us to praise Him every day. As we do it becomes easier to praise Him in tough times. It is also easier to praise Him when things are really good.

Regardless of the highs or lows in your life “Bless the Lord at all times.” Be like the angels as they sing “Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God Almighty.” And You Will Feel His Holy Presence! Praise God! Amen!
